All are mature, outgoing and committed to the KMAC philosophy and mission. We build on their rich personal experience with extensive staff training. We strive by role modeling and direct action to teach the importance to have passion and integrity in our daily lives, hoping that our future leaders will be able to make decisions that come from their hearts as well as their minds. Reed Woodford
Reed has been enjoying the outdoors all of his life. Since moving to Colorado there has been a lot more to enjoy. His spontaneity has taken him on climbing and backpacking trips throughout the American west, Midwest, and Mexico. Although he enjoys most types of climbing, his favorite is getting up while it’s still dark for a full day of alpine climbing. Reed holds a bachelors degree in Elementary / Middle School Education from U. of Northern Iowa and has been working with youth for most of his adult life. His favorite part about working with KMAC is that he gets to share his love of climbing and the outdoors with his students. In addition to guiding, Reed is also the Office Manager at KMAC. There’s always at least one person laughing when he starts telling jokes while on course.

Adam traces his roots back to Atlanta, Georgia, a place that still inspires fond memories of fried chicken and sweet tea. However, after a NOLS mountaineering course in the Wind River Range of Wyoming in 2002 he heard the mountains calling his name and moved to Colorado to pursue a degree in Rock Climbing, Road Tripping and Snowboarding.
